Lady Gaga’s body is a work of art — literally.

The “Marry the Night” singer, who never shies away from an opportunity to show some skin, recently posed nude for the legendary Tony Bennett as part of a shoot for Vanity Fair's January issue.

The creative concept includes the sketch done by the music icon, as well as a photograph taken by famed fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz. Both images of the 25-year-old pop star can be viewed exclusively inside the magazine.

The provocative images - in them, Gaga tactfully covers up all the right spots on her naked body while holding a cigarette - will also soon become collector's items.

Bidding on the items begin Monday from 8 a.m. at eBay.com/celebrity and will end the following Monday.

The highest bidder will not only win the two illustrations of the bare-skinned entertainer, but will also receive signed copies of the original works by the artists, accessories from the shoot, and a poster of the Vanity Fair cover singed by Lady Gaga, among other things.

Proceeds from the auction will go toward charitable causes that include Exploring the Arts, a nonprofit organization co-founded by Bennett and his wife Susan Benedetto, which aims to strengthen the role of the arts in public high school education.

Lady Gaga’s nonprofit Born This Way Foundation will also benefit from the proceeds. The singer's organization partners with the MacArthur Foundation and Harvard University, with a focus on youth empowerment.

What would Miranda Priestly have to say about this? Vogue has now officially had the oldest actress in their magazine’s history to ever grace their cover, and it’s none other than Meryl Streep. (Even the 62-year-old herself joked in her interview that she is “oldest person” to have the honor.)




While that bit of information might sound staggering in and of itself, what’s even more shocking is that it’s Streep’s first time to ever grace the cover of the mag. (That’s right, that means Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, and Jessica Biel had all accomplished something before Meryl Streep. Let that one sink in, PopWatchers.)

The Iron Lady star, who is one of the front-runners for this year’s Best Actress Oscar race for her performance as Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, has been no stranger to age discrimination before. Streep told Vogue that after she turned 40 she was offered three different roles to play a witch. This, she felt, meant Hollywood had viewed older actresses as “grotesque on some level.” Streep also revealed that, at that time, she wrongfully predicted her career was over in a conversation with her husband. (Thankfully, and unsurprisingly, it wasn’t over. And as a wise man once said, “It still isn’t over.”)

The January issue of Vogue featuring the timelessly beautiful Meryl Streep hits newsstands on Dec. 20, but it can’t get there soon enough, considering it’s been a long time coming.

Mexican actress Salma Hayek said in an interview on BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show” that she wasn’t always as vivacious and self-confident as she is today, The Daily Mail UK reports. The “Puss in Boots” star says she was so desperate that she even asked Jesus Christ for his help.
“I went to a church that had a saint that was supposed to do a lot of miracles,” Hayek said. “I put my hands in the holy water and went: Please Jesus give me some boobs."
Hayek, 45, adds that she was “really scared” because she was “the youngest in class and all these girls were starting to get them (breasts.)”

“I was getting teased a lot because everyone was older and I was the skinny tomboy,” Hayek continued. She also mentioned that speaking English was a big challenge when she first arrived to the US.”
“I was upset by one review because it said, "Salma Hayek, bombshell,"said Hayek. “I thought they meant the movie bombed because it was so bad.”
While seductively posing for V Magazine Spain last year, Hayek revealed her humble beginnings, her undocumented immigrant status early on and the hardships she faced in Hollywood.
“I was an illegal immigrant in the United States,” Hayek said during the interview. “It was for a small period of time, but I still did it.”
“I had to endure the worst time of all in terms of racial discrimination in Hollywood when I first started out,” Hayek said in the interview.
“It was inconceivable to American directors and producers that a Mexican woman could have a lead role.”

The New Year’s Eve actress wore similar outfit to yesterday when she was seen taking her son James for a stroll and dropping her stylish girls off at school.

In a black biker jacket, grey top and sheepskin boots, the only change the star has made is switching her light jeans for a darker pair.
