Los Angeles Woman - Paula Patton

Paula Patton's family lived across the street from the 20th Century Fox lot when she was growing up and she was a fan of films from her earliest years. Born in Los Angeles - December 5, 1975 she is known for her appearances in the films Idlewild (2006), Déjà Vu (2006), Mirrors (2008), Swing Vote (2008), Precious (2009), Just Wright (2010), Jumping the Broom (2011), and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011). On Tuesday, April 6, 2010 she and Robin Thicke welcomed their first child, Julian Fuego, into the world. Returned to work three months after giving birth to Julian in order to begin filming Jumping the Broom (2011).

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol starring alongside Tom Cruise, is featured as the latest cover girl for a magazine December 2011 / January 2012 issue showing lots of her bronze beautiful skin. She was on the cover back of that magazine in 2006, she said - "I'm more comfortable with my flaws now, and with that, you start to feel more confident. When you're trying to hide all of your flaws, and you're embarrassed by them, it can be so uncomfortable—very, very uncomfortable."

In the accompanying interview, Miss Patton dished about what it was like on set of the new movie, saying "I was doing physical stunts - feet in the mud, fingernails full of dirt, shooting and fighting for my life.”

As the promo-hoeing for Mission Impossible continues, Paula Patton makes an appearance as Jezebel Magazine’s latest cover girl. Patton has a white mother and a black father. Her mother, who also appreciated good films, was a schoolteacher, and her father was a lawyer. Height : 5'4'' / 1.63 m
